Learn to breathe deeply, to maximize your fresh oxygen intake. Oxygen is the Staff of Life! What you think determines your words, your actions, and your perspective in life. Perspective means, are you seeing the glass half empty, or half full?  Before you speak, ask yourself, “Is it kind, necessary, considerate?”

Just as our homes are made from lumber without looking like trees, our bodies are made from the nutrients we extract from foods without resembling those foods. According to the Bragg Life Plan, your bloodstream is renewed every three months, every 11 months every cell in the body has renewed itself, and every two years you get a new skeleton. This means that the nutritional content of what we eat determines the composition of our cell membranes, bone marrow, blood, and hormones. In short, our bodies are only as clean as the food we feed them.

The Bragg Healthy Lifestyle is a diet made up of 60-70% fresh, live, organically grown foods, which includes but is not limited to, fresh fruits and vegetables, raw seeds and nuts, whole-grain bread and pasta, nutritious beans and legumes. Following, we also suggest that people reduce their animal protein or meat consumption to 1-3 times per week and make sure to source organic, or at least grass-fed animal products that are free of antibiotics and hormones.

Where premature aging and senility are the results of toxic debris buildup accumulated from an unhealthy lifestyle, eating the right foods with plenty of exercises will cultivate a spirit of youth and allow you to maintain high energy levels. As a starting point, choose one meal each day to model after the Bragg Healthy Lifestyle protocol. The best way to teach your kids (or anyone else) is by your example. Slowly, one day and one meal at a time, you will slowly refresh your body, your mind, your spirit for a longer, happier life!
